JBL Charge 2 plus: Earlier we mentioned in our article of ‘JBL Xtreme Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker’ that, JBL electronic products manufactured by Harman Corporate is an American Company. Simplifying the way people act together with technology and connecting them to the world around them for HARMAN engineers solutions to expand life’s experiences. The Company designs and plans linked their products and solutions worldwide for Automakers, general consumers, and enterprises. JBL involved including up great the car systems, audio and visual products, enterprise automation way out, and services. Their talented employees and innovation strength create value for their investors by empowering rich experiences through the connected enterprise and lifestyle. But SAMSUMG finally bought the US audio company Harman in an all-cash deal worth $8 billion.
JBL has been doing little exciting things with its portable Bluetooth wireless speakers at 2015. As an alternative of absolutely rebuilding its line up, it’s promoted certain models with a water-resistant design and only added a plus sign to their product names. It is the case for the Charge 2+, which not including for the color of the logo and looks duplicate to last year’s Charge 2 and conveys the same list price. However, it weighs slightly more at 600 grams to the Charge 2’s 540 grams, which means something was added. Dont miss the product order now for the best offer.
Through this JBL Charge 2 plus review, you will get the clear concept about its design. The JBL Charge 2+ speaker is little lengthy and cylindrical, very much like its elder Charge 2 familial. However, the Charge 2+ is a bit bigger built at dimensionally 8.5 x 4 x 6.75 inch and also heavier at 1.7 Lbs. The Charge 2+ is available in nine bright colors, so users can select a color as per their taste.
The Charge 2+ is designed to be splash proof, which is an advantageous feature for any portable speaker. You have to no longer worry about uncovering the speaker to rain or the irregular water escape. In fact, JBL claims that can place the speaker under tap water without any inconvenient significances. It should be importantly remembered that the speaker is only ‘splash proof’ and not ‘water resistant’. This means that should not go under deep water to survive the device.
The panel on the JBL Charge 2+ dynasties buttons for the power, volume controls, speakerphone, and social mode (more on this later). The speakerphone button makes active the microphone and is used to answer phone calls. The charge left in the battery displays on a 5-level power indicator. One disadvantage of the Charge 2+ has the lack of equalizer settings to alter the sound tones. The user must preset the equalizer setting on the app in the music player itself.
The speaker has built is 6000 mAh battery, which capacity is remarkable more than the typical smartphones has. The JBL claims the battery lasts 12 hours on a full charge, which is satisfactory but fairly low when compared to other a few models available in the market. The speaker able to connect other devices via Bluetooth. For case in point, it is easily direct to pair the Charge 2+ to any Android smartphone. However, the speaker also has a lack of NFC support. The rear side of the speaker has a micro USB port to charge the speaker, a USB port, and a 3.5mm aux input.
It is easy to iOS pairing with the Charge 2+ and Android devices. At the pairing time, simply need to look for ‘JBL Charge 2+ display’ and mobile phone device’s Bluetooth settings menu. This JBL doesn’t quick pairing with NFC for Android units, however.
The Charge 2+ speaker keep up a strong wireless connection at more than 25 feet, even with walls between the music source and the speaker. The Charge 2+ doesn’t have any tone controls, and JBL doesn’t offer a mobile app for alteration any settings.
This review also explain about its speakerphone. The Charge 2+ speakerphone is usual at best. Its microphone is about one and the same in performance to the iPhone’s built-in unit. However, on my last call, I had to turn up the volume largely to hear the voice on the other end of the line. After that, I had to turn it down when the call ends so I wouldn’t get a shock wave the next time I played music.
Into this review, you will know its battery life too. JBL says the Charge 2+ can play for 12 hours, though it depends on the devices volume label. We found that to be almost accurate in our first testing. As the name point toward, the Charge 2+ also acts as an external power bank and can charge tablets and phones via USB. As an example, with its 6,000-mAh battery, you may have enough source to fully recharge an iPhone 6 battery more than three times before the speaker runs out its charge. No need to mention, the power you use to charge external devices reduces the amount of playback time you’ll get.

We are clarifying speaker’s performance through this Charge 2 plus review. The Charge 2+ speaker is powered by two units of 7.5-watt drivers, which gives a total of 15 watts. That’s pretty decent for a speaker in this size. The Charge 2+ plays amazingly loud, and unlike the original Charge 2 I go through its tuned better and delivers crisp clear sound but tighter bass. That’s for the reason that about after three months the initial release of the Charge 2, JBL upgraded the speaker’s technical matter without concerning to tell anyone about it and called the Charge 2+. So far I can tell, the new Charge 2+ sounds the same as the firmware-updated Charge 2 except its modified bass.
The Charge 2+ can crank for a small speaker and its measured highest volume at 95 dB, most portable Bluetooth speakers top out at 90 dB and it didn’t sound meaningfully distorted until it touched volume label about 90 decibels. The Charge 2+ possibly among the best-sounding Bluetooth speakers in this size and price range.
